SHARE was established over 25 years ago by local families who knew home educating would take a village. Today, we offer a Christ-centered program designed to support, challenge, and engage home educated children and their families. We begin each day with a time of devotion and prayer before starting our studies, and continue to emphasize a Christian worldview throughout the day. SHARE meets every Tuesday in Columbia, from 8:30 until 2:20 or 3:20 if you have an IEW student. If you are interested in the courses we offer click here.

I have traveled many different paths in my lifetime; former US Marine, former UPS preload/driver, wife to George for 28 years and counting, home-school mom to 3 awesome kids (all grown), SHARE teacher/director and Realtor. I am thankful for how God has grown me in every aspect of my life and how He continues to do so; I am a work in progress. I have been blessed to be a part of this tutorial for the past 18 years and pray I will have many more here. SHARE has seen several different locations and teachers, families have come and gone and come again, students have graduated, but one thing remains the same and that is the fact that God is in control.
Meet Our Staff
I am Dawn Costello, the "senior" on the SHARE team and one of the original founders of SHARE. I have been in and out depending on the needs of my children. I'm currently in year 8 teaching the younger science classes and have my 2 grandkids here. I have an Elementary Education Degree, which really didn't help in homeeducating my four kids, but does come in handy in our tutorial classroom. I love teaching your children and being a "granna" has made my heart even more tender toward them. I love doing a lot of hands-on activities to introduce science topics. I'm excited about our SHARE science curriculum which will give your studetns several passes over various topics, each time in a deeper way.

I am so excited to be teaching Math Enrichment this year! I graduated from SHARE in 2012 and have since spent lots of time helping the other teachers while going to school. I am currently getting my ADN-RN at CSCC, but I am never too busy to answer any questions you may have!
